VEHICLE PERFORMANCE ERROR ENCOUNTERED:
This vehicle's performance stats need to be fixed or improved.

Your run-of-the-mill vehicle.
―In-game description in Watch Dogs.

The Nakahawa Motors Lithium SP is a subcompact electric hatchback in Watch Dogs.

Design[]

The Lithium SP is strongly based on the first generation Kia Soul, as seen on the overall design, as well having a presence of a very boxy shape. The rear bumper is taken from the second generation Scion xB.

Performance[]

The Lithium SP has an extremely poor top speed and low durability, possibly due to its electric nature, but has a decent acceleration and handling. Thus, the car is not a good choice in high speed chases or escapes.

Trivia[]

  • The Lithium SP also appears in Ubisoft Ivory Tower's The Crew and The Crew 2 as an undriveable traffic vehicle.
  • The license plates of the car always end with "EL", which possibly stands for "Electric vehicle". This may mean that Illinois, the state where Chicago is located, has some reductions for electric cars, in a similar way to the taxis.
  • Despite the presence of the Lithium SP as a fully electric car, it has a gasoline car sound, an actual four-cylinder engine, a normal transmission that shifts gears, and an exhaust, unlike a real electric car has, it may likely that the car is actually a plug-in hybrid, or probably a developer's oversight.
    • The engine sound was later fixed in the Xbox One/PS4 remaster versions of the game, yet the car still has the rest of the aforementioned mistakes left.
  • Despite being an electric car, there aren't any public charging stations in the city.
